Abstract In this article configurations of the high-performance distributed information microcomputer systems of collection and are considered. In a basis of the organization of collection and processing of values of signals of sensors the principle of stream four-tier processing is supposed. For creation of systems information microprocessor modules and the information microcontroller communicators, allowing to create different high-performance configurations of systems are used. Feature of configurations is parallel digitization of the signals collected in groups and parallel-serial processing of groups of their numerical values. Expenses of time and the equipment of these configurations are evaluated and compared. The models of the information microcontroller communication modules necessary for creation of high-performance distributed information microcomputer systems of collection and information processing of sensors are defined. Creation examples on the basis of these modules of star-shaped and treelike configurations are given. Costs of time of the solution of tasks of collection of them and information processing of sensors are evaluated. Except information microprocessor modules for creation of the distributed information microcomputer systems, are used the different information communication modules providing collection, package of packets and their sending to network canals. Varieties of such modules are defined.
