Abstract Is developed mathematical model of situational management by topology of a subsystem for gathering and processing of the information of gauges as a part of the distributed system for gathering and the data processing, removed from technical object. The model allows to provide program change of topology of the channels which are carrying out data transmission and schemes of processing of the information in a subsystem at occurrence of a supernumerary situation in channels of gathering and knots of data processing. The model defines procedures of situational management by topology of a subsystem and their sequence. Functionality of a subsystem is supplemented with corresponding possibilities without change of its base architecture. Modeling of processes of situational management by topology for a subsystem of gathering and processing of the information arriving from gauges is spent. The subsystem consisting of three devices was considered. The base situational algorithm defining reaction of system on occurrence of a certain supernumerary situation is developed. The algorithm allows to avoid or compensate in case of a supernumerary situation information losses for the account of change of topological communications and updating of working algorithms. The algorithm is realized in computer model on the basis of Petri net. The developed model can be used for maintenance of high reliability at functioning of the distributed systems in the conditions of external influence and occurrence supernumerary and emergencies.
