Abstract Modern programs electromagnetic simulation it is possible to decompose devices, breaking them down into simpler structures. Feature of the test phase shifter is connected in the same set of cascades in T-scheme. Electrodynamic simulation result is a cascade S-parameters. Each of the sub ( on T-stage scheme ) with constant effective parameters can be represented by a matrix of transmission. Transfer matrix of the device is obtained by multiplying the transfer matrices of its parts. Implementation of the decomposition approach aided design is based on the transformation of models in one of the specialized programs electromagnetic modeling sofware. The results of numerical simulation based on the decomposition method. Investigated the device is optimized for S-parameters in the frequency range investigated phase and amplitude characteristics of return loss and insertion loss. Using the decomposition method can significantly reduce the time of numerical simulation.
