Abstract In small-sized digital frequency sinthesizers constructed on the basis of a frequency stabilization phase contour (FSPC) with digital, frequency dividers the level of non-harmonic components largely depends on control voltage pulsation of the pulse-phase discriminator (PPD). To reduce the influence of these pulses on the quality of a signal the inertial filters of the low frequencies (FLF) smoothing the pulses up to the necessary level are included into the contour FSPC. The problem is to develop the strategy of transient control that ensures leading of the system in an equilibrum from the initial free conditions, the solution of non-linear differential equation of FSPC base system being available.
