Abstract This article discusses the problem of forming an innovative learning environment. The various concepts of the educational environment are examined. It is shown that the basis for the design of innovative learning environment is a body of knowledge about the laws governing the development of personality in man. One function of the individual - the continuous search, validate and review the meaning of his or her actions and life in general, knowledge of the world and transform itself. Personality development is presented as a self-construction by the individual of his inner world, that is, self-organization. In view of this design principles of the innovative educational environment are proposed. The features of visualization as a strategy for creating an innovative learning environment are considered.
