Abstract Experimental studies of the absorption coefficient of construction materials by the standing waves were provided. The structural diagram of the experimental installation, which includes electro acoustic transmitting-receiving channel was worked out. To study selected advanced materials, most often used for cladding building snow were chosen: "Ecophon" "SOUNDLUX Baffle", "SOUNDLUXperfo", "DECORACOUSTIC", in conjunction with SHUMANET-SC, PPGZ, PPGZ. The obtained experimental results were presented in the form of the absorption coefficient tvs frequency, which are further used in the calculation of fund absorption and reverberation time. Recommendations are given for the acoustic design to enhance audio environmental.
