Abstract In article possibility of use of the device of the expanded response characteristics for the analysis of systems with the distributed parameters is considered. The concept of a spatial M-circle is entered. Application of the distributed spatial hodograph and spatial M-circle for an estimation of stability of systems is considered. The problem on working out of the estimation technique of margin of stability SRP on index of oscillation, considered on an example of the closed control system with the distributed proportional regulator is formulated and solved. The developed technique will allow to calculate adjustments of the distributed proportional regulators.
