Abstract The calculation of the critical pressure of acetylene, as determined by the critical speed of its dissociation. The calculated parameters are necessary for a sustainable form of carbon nanotubes on nickel catalytic centers by plasma enhance chemical vapor deposition. The regularities, and the nature of stabilization of nanotube growth in supply to the reactor in a mixture of ammonia with acetylene. Shown that ammonia, binding oxygen, eliminates the formation of compounds СОх, preserving the critical concentration of carbon on the catalytic center.Established that during the entire production cycle is three-fold upgrade of the gas atmosphere.The experimental confirmation of theoretical results.
