Abstract The purpose of work is synthesis and studying of the size of zinc nanoclusters in the modeling of friction contact by modern methods of sedimentation. The features of the electronic structure of atoms, even the two standing near in the table of elements are differ not only in the size of their clusters, but also in the form of the distribution curve are revealed. The sedimentation analysis of particle sizes in different ultradispersed systems can be used to detect the nuances of nanotechnological effects, including friction in the presence of zinc nanoclusters are established.
