Abstract There is viewed measurement of ultrasonic wave speed gradient in monocrystals for determination boundaries of parts with permitted residual mechanical stresses. There were obtained equations for determination speed gradient according to relative decreasing of echo-pulse amplitude and number of echo-pulses in the string of multiple reverberations.
