Abstract While solving various problems of mathematical physics it is necessary to solve systems of linear algebraic equations. The main source of such problems are finite difference and finite element approximations of one-dimensional problems of mathematical physics. The number of the equations in systems can be more than 10. Therefore it is necessary to work out the parallel algorithms of the decision. In the given work the modified algorithm of Jakobi’s method for solving of the linear algebraic equations systems is considered. Parallel realization of the given method, results of numerical experiments is resulted.
