Abstract Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) have the unique structure considerably different from other types of solar cells. In these cells the big influence on efficiency conversion solar radiation is rendered by structure of TiO2 films and also properties of dye molecules. In article developed MatLab application for simulation of solar radiation absorption dye-sensitized TiO2 film is presented. Designed application allows to evaluate the influence of film thickness and the diameter of the TiO2 particles on its solar radiation absorption.
