Abstract In this paper a neural net regulator for a prospect piezoelectric actuator of robotic systems is described. The neural net regulator is designed in three stages: generating data for a training procedure, choosing a suitable structure of the regulator, tuning up its weights. For experimental checking a piezoelectric actuator prototype was developed. Experimental studies have confirmed efficiency of the taken decisions.
