Abstract Research of CD/DVD recording device identification possibility based on vibroacoustic noise features of disk reading process on the same device is presented. Analysis of the recorded vibroacoustics noises was performed by wavelet transform. It is shown that neural networks could be used for CD/DVD recording devices identification.
