Abstract The main aim of the research is to develop proposals that can improve the reliability of investment justification in information technology. Discusses investment analysis, when the factors of the effectiveness of projects in information technology contain elements of uncertainty. A number of system parameters (rates, volumes, expense ratios) are inherently uncertain values. This allows you to set them in the intervals of uncertainty. The uncertainty factors of the effectiveness of projects is carried out using simulation. The rationale can be included both direct and indirect factors. The distribution laws of indices, obtained by simulation, allows you to set the parameters for the scenario calculations. Thus, using simulations modeled the relative uncertainty of reality, are all at the request of the researcher, the most important factors of efficiency projects that will eventually help to increase the validity of calculations of the effect of investment in information technology for technical and industrial systems.
