Abstract Several methods and models are proposed for agile development of information resource operations as a part of workflow in collaborative information environments based on web-technologies. The method of workflow user requerement capturing based on coloured Petri nets using user tokens for representing role based access control. The model of collaborative information space and web-site architecture pattern based on it using separate information resource classes for operations, user profiles and resource queries. An implementation of collaborative information environment with workflow support for Writers United company based on CMF Drupal using agile development techniques with proposed methods and models are described.
