Abstract The article develops the formalization approach to the management of the level of IT- services in the information systems of enterprises. The authors present the formal model of IT-service in the form of the linguistic variable, which is created taking into account the recommendations of the library of the advanced experience related to the IT management- ITIL infrastructure. The meaning of the linguistic variable is sustained in the condition of statement-of-work considering the management store and limited quantity of resources in the information system. The fuzzy service model is the basis for building algorithms of the management of their levels.
