Abstract Ways of utilizing EEG signals and the notion of physiological time to form thought-like control commands within the Brain-computer Interface (BCI) are considered. Special attention should be devoted to taking into account the individual peculiarities of the EEG activity and its dependence on the functional state of the persons for whom the BCI is implemented. A promising direction to address this issue is the use of learning in neural networks.
