Abstract Analyzing the organizations search while engaging into the connection between the moving correspondents. Algorithm of the search has been proposed, involving up to two activations of pulsedemission equipment search in the observation of decomposition element with a single-channel data processing in the registration mode of the photon flux. It shown that the application of the algorithm reduces to four or more times the probability of passing the signal in comparison with analogue, only one search operation equipment. By this difference in the values of the probability for false alarm is not extreme (3 ... 5 %). Received analytical expressions are obtained for the quantitative relation to calculating of probability characteristics and timing of the complex existential search of pulsed radiation sources with single-channel data processing. It is proven that the non-linear behavior of the probability change of false alarm from the average number of noise pulses in the repetition period of the optical pulse. A decrease in the frequency of the noise pulses 10 times allows reducing the probability of false alarm 100 times and, consequently, reducing the average search time of pulse signals in registration mode of single photon pulses. Researсh shows that to ensure the probability of false alarm at 0.1 % above the average number of noise pulses generated during the period repetition optical pulses must not exceed 0.1. To ensure the possibility of missing no more than 10 % is required to provide an average of more than three signal reception of the photoelectrons for the duration of the optical pulse in the generation frequency noise pulses in the range of 1 ... 5 MHz. Offered algorithm of the search pulsed radiation with single channel registration of the photons, it provides range expansion of the successful pulsed signals on the background impact condition in photons registrations mode, by single channel data processing and allowance of two activations of equipment.
