Abstract The principles of IT infrastructure creation of automated design engineering systems (CAD) are specified. Advantages of using the service oriented architecture (SOA) for creation of an information and program CAD are described. The possible Windows platform of Communication Foundation (WCF) for implementation of CAD IT infrastructure on the basis of SOA and the full-duplex exchange protocol is designated by data of WebSocket. Historical aspects of formation of WCF, SOA and WebSocket technologies are given. Advantages of using the WCF platform for creation of the distributed CAD in comparison to the standard concept of the service creation are considered. Methods of creating the communication modules of client and server components for the services using the WCF platform are shown. The code of contract`s behavior of a server component of the communication module is provided herein. Specified are different setting`s parameters of bindings class for using asynchronous methods of information exchange and binding official functions support. Operation methods with the WSDL document and the transport function recommendations of the ws://and http:// protocols are given in the article. Possible specific parameters of transport for message exchange are described. The short review of features for communication is provided in the heterogeneous environments. Critical interaction cases of the cross-platform software are designated. Results of using the communication modules of the distributed CAD on the example of console reports are shown. Advantages of using the all three above described technologies in the uniform software possible for use in case of creation CAD are added. Attention is paid to the standardized interaction methods with the described communication modules.
