Abstract One of the models of energy consumption, which based on the stochastic differential equation, is described in the article. Milshtein’s method for numerical solution of stochastic differential equation, which used here, is described and researched in the article. Results of numerical calculations of energy consumption prognostication in 2010–2011 based on data of energy consumption of hostels №1–3 of TTI SFU campus in 2008–2009 are given in the article. The applicability of forecasting model of electricity consumption is estimated.
