Abstract From the point of view of ensuring the information security of the main advantage of satellite communication systems (SCS) is to provide high quality, i.e. noise immunity of communication, with unlimited distance and extensive coverage areas – defines one of the main shortcomings of the SCS: the availability of electromagnetic radiation of artificial Earth satellites for monitoring systems of unauthorized users. Shortcoming will be resolved by the application of the method of protection of the information in the SCS through the use of low frequency and diversity in the space of admission to multiple antennas. The results of calculations of satellite radio communication at low frequencies using the developed method of the energy calculation show the possibility to obtain in practice a high level of energy secrecy SCS, operating at lower frequencies.
