Abstract The quality of the work of high-precision scanning modules depends on a large number of parameters, and so the diagnosis is a complex technical task and requires highly qualified staff. In this article we propose a methodology, which allows to simplify the control of the mechatronics module and the adoption of the corresponding decision of the fault. The method requires an automated diagnosis of products on the basis of the analysis of signals transmitted controller of mechatronics module, and the provision of staff of the recommendations on the identification and elimination of existing defects.
