Abstract The article is devoted to the questions of application a crazing of polymers in industrial terms. The material of this work is PET – one of the basic industrial polymers, and fibers produced on his foundation. In the work formed optimal condition for realization of crazing in PET-fibers (rate and time of drawing, temperature and time of term processing). This parameters considerate of real industrial terms. In results created special crazing-technology for produce modify fibers of PET. The modifying agent in this technology is fire retardant. With him produced experimental parties of PET-fibers with lower combustibility. The Oxygen Index of this material is 30 %.
