Abstract The aim of the work is search for polymeric composition components for fire-resistant organic glass directed on improvement of fire-protective characteristics of glass. To achieve the objective the following tasks have been solved: study of kinetic parameters of the composition polymerization, evaluation of the components influence on polymerization process, definition of the main indexes of the polymeric composition fire-resistance. The work proves the composition selection for organic glass when its polymerizate refers to the fireproof materials, thus enabling application of the organic glass in multipurpose construction. Polymerization kinetics of compositions with different content of acrylic acid was studied. The rational content of phosphoric acid and photoinitiator in composition was defined. The components chemical interaction in polymerizate was found out, the fire-resistance indexes were defined.
