Abstract In the laser gyroscope information about rotational speed Ω is extracted from the phase (frequency) characteristics of electromagnetic (EM) field spreading in the direction and opposite to the rotation of the resonator. The effect of Sanyak is used here. Grate number of works are devoted to solving the problem of the possibility of existence of the EM - field in rotating gyroscope. However, the decisions are derived from various kinds of approximate representations of the EM - field. Strict electrodynamics" theory of the Sanyak effect is considered in the first point [1]. By constructional reasons in the development of gyroscopes the usage of coaxial resonators may be preferable. In this article, on the bases of covariant electrodynamics equations of the theory of general relativity the setting and strict solution of the boundary problem of the possible existence of oscillations in a rotating magnetic type coaxial resonator without heat loss are observed.
