Abstract The computer optical topography method for diagnostic of postural disorders and spinal deformity provides a 3D model reconstruction of the body surface. It gives the user a large volume of information about postural state in three dimensions. While using the method for monitoring and treatment control a problem of topographic data comparison occurs. To solve this problem the special technique of graphic-parametric comparison was developed. It uses the graphic representations overlay of two patient states and colored difference of topographical parameters depending on their change in magnitude and direction (improvement or declining of postural state).
