Abstract In the paper is proposed a method combining techniques bioassay and analytical control on the basis of spectrophotometric measurements of characteristics of the medium indicator medium by a spectrophotometer. Based on the literature review, the indicator is selected and carried out research, including experiments on survival of indicator microorganisms in the environment, the study of spectral characteristics of the medium with the addition of an indicator of heavy metals, to study the reaction bioassay dynamics galvanotaxis ciliates P.caudatum indicator of a clean environment and with the addition of heavy metals. The data obtained show the possibility of combining the methods of biological and analytical control.
