Abstract The problem of physical realization of the quantum theory of consciousness. Comparative analysis of traditional and quantum theory of consciousness, which is now found more and more supporters. The authors analyze the feasibility of various physical and chemical processes relevant to modern ideas about the structure of the brain as a quantum computer. Proposed to be used in the simulation of consciousness quantum computing, in particular qubits - quantum bits, or the smallest elements to store information. Quantum qubits can be linked to each other, that is, for every change on one of several qubits, and the rest vary in concert with him. This allows parallel operations and to obtain certain advantages over a purely binary algorithms.
