Abstract This article is devoted to the idea of multimedia materials and their design and development. The experience based on creation of multimedia professionally relevant courses is described. New content meets the state standards and contributes to the required competences . The foreign constituent of professional speech activity of future specialist comes true mainly in an electronic environment. Work with an e-text requires greater intellectual activity from the side of student, especially during work with the professionally oriented resources. Cognitive flairs and speech and mentality operations are developed and improved during work with new educational materials. It is necessary to see the dynamics of development of speech abilities of new facilities of educating, but not to compare in quantitative indexes paper and electronic formats. Methodology of multimedia didactic materials creation is checked up in practice by development on the template of the educational multimedia modules for different specialities. Creation of analogical courses on the basis of template is possible for students studying French and other languages.
