Abstract Now ultrasound is widely applied in various fields: metallurgy, chemical and the food-processing industry, medicine and equipment manufacture. Also the ultrasound plays an essential role in water purification constructions used for cleaning harmful water impurities. The underground waters used for maintenance of the population by potable water, contain a considerable quantity of nonsoluble suspensions, in particular, iron. Using ultrasonic oscillations promotes a prompt oxidizing, integration and deposition of particles of iron and other harmful impurities. Basing on the solution for changing the deposition of the diffusion particles flux through the acoustic and hydrodynamic boundary layers intensification of deposition of particles sedimentation for an acoustic field is received.
