Abstract The statistics associated with the flight accidents of the passenger and cargo transport airplanes demonstrate that the considerable amount of the flight accidents during landing including the crashes is caused by collision with ground objects resulted from running off the runway. As a rule, a flight accident is an effect of the failures of airborne systems or resulted by human factor. Thereby the development of automatic control laws of the airplane motion on the runway enabling required level of safety is still of high priority. This paper reviews the synergetic approach to synthesis of the automatic control laws of an airplane motion on the runway. Such an approach allows consider entire dynamic behavior of the airplane being reviewed as non-linear, multidimensional and multiply connected control object [1].
