Abstract Influence of vortical impacts to aerodynamic control and stabilizing surfaces has been examined in this work. Open source CFD software package OpenFOAM has been used for modeling flow. Test model problems of flow have been studied. Minimal requirements for the grid have been determined. Perturbing influence of airbrake to aircraft’s fin has been calculated and evaluated. Variant of perforated airbrake for reduction dynamic loads has been proposed.
