Abstract It was considered common rectifier inverter conversion system of traction substation for three-phase bridge circuit, loaded on drive DC motor ERS (electric rolling stock) with PWM control. Composed circuit diagrams inverter traction substation based on the type of IGBT power switches with high unit power, with DC traction motors with impulse control. The results of the development of the semiconductor conversion system of traction substation. Based on an integrated model for the mathematical modeling of electromagnetic and electromechanical processes at startup ERS. Consider starting and traction modes electric rolling stock. Shows how the formation of a continuous pulse sequence error signal for the study start mode DC electric traction. The results of modeling the transition process in start-up mode.
