|Abstract||Heat resistant, flame-resistant clothing, used for protection against thermal risks, should maintain properties during all term of operation, including the holding of repeated washings, the impact of mechanical loads, climatic conditions. Assessment of conservation of properties of materials in the process of exploitation is a difficult task, as there are no regulatory documents, which allow to define the ageing of materials. The work gives the data on the study of the aging process heat-resistant fabric Nomex different surface density of the weave and after various methods of finishing by determining physical-mechanical indicators and using the methods of thermogravimetric analysis, IR spectroscopy. It is shown that the greatest decrease in tensile strength of the yarn into fabric Nomex occurs under the influence of light (up 27 %). When conducting washings and photooxidative destruction no noticeable reduction in the strength indicators. Method of thermogravimetric analysis investigated the change of the kinetic parameters of decomposition of the original fabric and after the operation. The correlation between the ratio of the maximum speed of decomposition of the polymer on the 2nd and 3rd stages of thermal destruction for the original fabric and after various types of impact indicators reduction of the strength characteristics, which allows to evaluate the degree of aging of the material. The obtained results show that the method of thermogravimetric analysis allows to control quality of materials in the process of operation and to carry out Express analysis of clothing.|
