Abstract This article considers questions, related to resampling of digital images frames for forming “picture-in-picture” mode for showing data from different sources on the display of single monitor. Herewith the main attention is given to the problem of a choice of digital filters for color image frames transformation in 32-bit ARGB-mode with required resolution, quality and speed. The main feature of the proposed approach is in using of the integrated quality indicators, which allow to get summary balanced evaluation of the digital image frames parameters, consequentially subjected to processes of the forward and backward resampling, in relation to it initial representation. In conclusion practical experiment results of the proposed methodology with using of the developed visual program model of the digital filters, which is used in changing of the specified type frames parameters, are discussed.
