Abstract The construction structure of the adaptive compression and processing information block for application in measuring systems is offered. The version of hardware and algorithmic engineering environment is selected. Property of adaptability is realized due to optimal discrete wavelet transform (DWT) basis choice from base depending on input signal characteristics. On the basis of the offered adaptive structure and the conducted research of the given structure optimum DWT realization is offered. The block model in the Simulink is developed and research of its characteristics is conducted. Efficiency of DWT compression scheme application for development of data gathering and processing block for multichannel measuring systems is proved.
