Abstract There are discussed conditions which must be satisfied for one can consider the search of test tasks solutions as time homogenous (Poisson’s) stochastic process. Careful studying of empirical distributions of times required for searching of true answers on test tasks allows making conclusion that all these empirical distributions are possessed to well known class of gamma distributions. Density of gamma distributions depends on two parameters: in framework of model dimensionless parameter α is interpreted difficulties of test task, and parameter λ, which has a dimension of inverse time, is associated with level of training of participant of trial.
