Abstract The body resistance creation mechanism by the tangential component of a gas molecule speed in a gas stream is considered in this article. The gas molecule interaction mechanisms with the motionless idealized plain body surface and with the motionless real rough surface, and also with the moving real surface are considered. The tangential speed component emergence for body movement is explained and the tangential speed component is accepted as the viscosity force or the friction force or the viscous friction force in this article.
