Abstract This article describes the stress analysis with physiological methods using wavelet transform of variation pulsometry data. It is shown that for non-stationary RR-interval series one can use discrete wavelet transform. The Meyer wavelet gives the most distinct frequency division of RR-interval spectrum but it is also the most complicated wavelet for computing. For real-time RR-interval series processing the most useful wavelet is Coifman 4-th order wavelet. Results of developed main stress indicator defining method – LF/HF relation for stationary series is almost a match to traditional method. But unlike the traditional method it can be used also in nonstationary cases
