Abstract In this article nonlinear properties electroencephalograms (EEG) of healthy patients and patients with multiple sclerosis and neuralgia of a trigeminal nerve before treatment are investigated. Attraktor are constructed, correlation dimensions and values of the first Lyapunov exponent for all assignments electroencephalograms healthy examinees and patients are calculated. It is found out that nonlinear indicators of EEG essentially differ in norm and at the considered neurologic pathologies, is shown that after treatment nonlinear characteristics of EEG come nearer to norm that can serve as an indicator of efficiency of the carried-out therapy.
