Abstract The model of formation of a stabilogram based on representation of system of stability in the form of composition of the linear dynamic and non-linear static subsystems is described. In the course of stability maintenance the first of them executes function of rough control and describes the smooth relocation of a projection of center of masses of big value. The second subsystem executes function of thin control and describes small chaotic deviations of a projection of center of masses from a rest point. Within the developed model it is analysed stability of system of equilibrium according to Lyapunov, stability boundaries for the free model parameters are defined, ways of their interpretation are scheduled and the generalized index of an inventory of stability of system of equilibrium is offered.
