Abstract The structure and the mathematical model of the implemented software for an exploring of the complex of visual potentials and cognitive reactions of a patient is represented. The way of registration of single realizations of the evoked potentials by the method of electroencephalogram processing by a filter with changing parameters is modified. There were pointed the recommended parameters of the system and the digital filter is optimized. The method of processing and representation of the results of the experiments is done. For two patients there were represented the topographic cards of the disposition of the latency of peaks of the visual and cognitive evoked potentials between the points of electroencephalogram. The directions of further researches are planned.
