Abstract The problem of completeness and reliability of received information ultrasonic devices remains open, at a wide circulation of ultrasonic researches in medical practice. Practice shows that only the phantom when checking the devices does not give a full guarantee of the completeness of diagnostic information. Work sensors, ultrasound examination takes place in the conditions, where medical information is obtained not only from the far-field radiation zone (Fraunhofer), but also from the middle of the field - Fresnel zone. The special characteristics of these areas of the field on the opposite effect on the final result. Work is devoted to completion of gaps in research of properties of a boundary region of the radiated field for development of the ultrasonography sensors at level of modeling and control of their quality in use.
